Side Menu & Application Header

Side Menu

One of the most significant changes is the new side menu, which now contains all key navigation elements. It includes access to Dashboards and all your requests and tasks, which were previously located under sections such as All Items, My Items, My Tasks, and All Tasks.

To improve clarity and make the interface more intuitive, we’ve renamed these sections as follows:

  • Inbox - Previously "My Tasks."

  • Active - Previously "All Tasks."

  • Following - Previously "My Items."

  • All - Previously "All Items."

Dashboard

The Dashboard provides an overview of your current tasks, activities, and important metrics. It's your central hub for monitoring and managing your work.

Inbox

Previously "My Tasks." Your personal to-do list in Xeelo—everything currently assigned to you and waiting for your action.

Active

Previously "All Tasks." A list of all active requests currently in progress. These tasks may not be assigned to you directly, but you can access and follow them based on your permissions.

All

Previously "All Items." A complete overview of all requests in the system—including closed ones. The scope depends on your access level.

Following

Previously "My Items." It primarily shows the requests you've created. You can track their status and see who's currently handling them.

Application Header

The application header has been visually simplified and functionally improved to support a more focused and consistent experience.

A new key addition is the environment type indicator, which helps you easily distinguish between different Xeelo environments. This label appears at the top of the screen and clearly shows whether you work in the Production, Test, or Development environment.

This change may go unnoticed by most users, as the label is visible only in non-production environments. If your organization uses a test environment for UAT or a development instance, the header now includes a clear tag such as Test or Development. This feature helps avoid confusion and ensures that you're always aware of the environment you're currently working in.
