Side Menu

The side navigation menu is the starting point for working with requests in the Xeelo system. It provides quick access to overviews based on your role — whether you are processing tasks, monitoring their status, or reviewing requests you created. Individual views display only the requests you are authorized to access and help you focus on what matters most.

  • Dashboard – The main overview that serves as your personal workspace. It displays a summary of current tasks, important information, or key metrics. You can customize the dashboard to suit your needs by configuring widgets that show the information you want to keep visible. More information about working with dashboards is available here.

  • Inbox – Your personal task list. This view contains all requests currently assigned to you and waiting for your action — for example approval, completion, or another workflow step. This view is ideal for everyday work and quick orientation. A detailed description of working with assigned requests is available here.

  • Active – Displays all requests that are currently in progress, regardless of who they are assigned to. It helps you monitor activity across the system and quickly understand what is currently happening. Only requests you have permission to access are displayed.

  • All – A complete overview of all requests, including those that have already been completed. It allows you to return to previously processed items, review history, and gain an overall picture of what has taken place in the system. The scope of displayed data is determined by your user permissions.

  • Following – Displays requests that you created yourself or are following for another reason — for example due to further development or approval status. This view allows you to easily see who is currently working on the request and which workflow step it is in.

At the bottom of the side navigation menu, you will find the Xeelo logo. Clicking it opens an information dialog displaying the currently used application version (for example rel-2025-07.006 2026-01-13 14:13:07). You can easily copy this information to the clipboard using the Copy to clipboard button.

You can collapse the side navigation menu at any time if you need more space to work. Simply click the arrow at the top of the menu. The menu will collapse and display only icons for individual views. You can expand it again at any time in the same way. This feature is especially useful when working with larger overviews or forms where a wider workspace is beneficial.
